SYSTEM.TROUBLESHOOTING

Why is the portal rejecting my upload?

Most application rejections are caused by hidden dimension or background mismatches rather than KB limits alone.

Issue 1

RRB portal rejects photo: 'File size must be 30KB to 70KB'

Cause: Many candidates use generic 20KB or 50KB compressors that fall outside the 30 to 70KB range.

Fix: Our dedicated RRB preset targets 50KB, comfortably within the 30KB minimum and 70KB maximum.

Issue 2

Signature rejected for capital letters

Cause: Signing in BLOCK/CAPITAL letters is strictly prohibited by Railway recruitment rules.

Fix: Sign in running cursive handwriting using a black ballpoint or gel pen and re-scan.

Issue 3

Photo rejected due to dark background

Cause: RRB requires a plain white or light off-white background.

Fix: Retake your photo against a white wall or plain sheet before compressing.

Issue 4

Photo older than 6 months flagged during document verification

Cause: RRB CEN rules state photograph must not be older than 6 months from application date.

Fix: Upload a fresh photograph that matches your current facial features.

Issue 5

WhatsApp compression drops file below 30KB

Cause: Sharing image over messaging apps shrinks it to 15KB.

Fix: Upload original camera photo directly into ToolKB to calibrate to 50KB.

Issue 6

Spectacles glare obscuring eyes

Cause: Camera flash creating reflection over lenses.

Fix: Remove glasses when taking photo for RRB registration.
