Why was my photo rejected on the exam portal?

Exam portals automatically reject photos that exceed the maximum KB limit, fail pixel dimension checks, have an unverified file extension such as PNG renamed as JPG, or have dark background shadows.

How does the exam photo checker test file sharpness?

The tool runs an in-browser Laplacian edge-variance scan directly on the image canvas. If the sharpness score is below threshold, it flags the image as blurry before you submit your form.

What does the One Click Fix button do?

The One Click Fix crops your photo to the exact required aspect ratio, whitens the background perimeter, sets 200 DPI metadata, and compresses the file into the exact compliant KB range.

Are my photos uploaded to any external server during the check?

No. All image validation, facial estimation, sharpness testing, and resizing happen purely inside your browser tab using HTML5 Canvas. Your files never leave your device.
