Accessibility Statement: ToolKB

Last updated: October 20, 2026•Effective date: October 20, 2026

1. Our Commitment

At ToolKB, we believe everyday digital utilities should be simple, efficient, and accessible to everyone. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target standard for web accessibility and user interface design.

2. Accessibility Features Implemented

We incorporate several proactive accessibility practices across our platform:

  • High-Contrast Visual Hierarchy: Our interface utilizes a carefully tuned color system with high-contrast text ratios against background surfaces to aid readability for users with low vision or color perception variations.
  • Full Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, file upload zones, tool buttons, and navigation menus are operable via keyboard alone using standard Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Space keys.
  • Visible Focus Rings: Interactive controls feature prominent focus outlines (e.g. focus-visible:ring-2) so keyboard users can track their position on the page.
  • Semantic HTML Structure: Pages use logical heading structures (h1, h2, h3), landmark regions (header, main, nav, footer, aside), and native HTML button elements.
  • ARIA Attributes: Complex interactive components (like file dropzones, image status badges, and mobile navigation bars) feature descriptive aria-label and aria-hidden annotations to support screen reader users.
  • Responsive & Zoom Support: The layout fluidly adapts to different screen sizes and remains fully functional when zoomed up to 200% on standard browsers.

3. Known Limitations

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, certain features present inherent visual challenges:

  • Interactive Canvas Editing: Visual tasks such as interactive image cropping boxes and signature joins rely on coordinate-based canvas manipulations that may be difficult to operate using screen readers alone. We continue to work on numeric input fallbacks.
  • Third-Party PDF Rendering: Rendering embedded PDF previews relies on canvas rendering via pdfjs-dist, which may not expose text structures to assistive technologies in the same manner as native HTML text.

4. Feedback & Assistance

We actively welcome feedback on the accessibility of ToolKB. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, experience difficulty using any of our tools, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact our support desk:
