Disclaimer: Exam Presets and Tool Output

1. General Informational & Formatting Utilities

All tools, presets, calculators, and guides provided on ToolKB are offered strictly for general informational, educational, and formatting convenience. While we make every technical effort to ensure accurate calculations and high output quality, all generated files and data are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.

2. Exam & Official Portal Requirements Disclaimer

ToolKB does not guarantee that output files will be accepted by third-party application portals.

Candidates and applicants frequently use ToolKB to format photographs and signatures for examination boards, government portals, and recruitment services, such as:

  • Staff Selection Commission (SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD)
  • Union Public Service Commission (UPSC Civil Services / OTR)
  • National Testing Agency (NEET, CUET, JEE)
  • Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS PO, Clerk, SO)

Critical Notice: Portal specifications (including exact byte-size limits, pixel dimensions, DPI, file format headers, and background color rules) are determined independently by respective exam authorities and frequently change from one exam cycle to the next without external notification.

ToolKB presets are convenience approximations derived from publicly available exam notifications. You are solely responsible for checking the active, official information bulletin issued by the examining body and validating your output file before submission.

3. Image & File Quality Limitations

Compressing an image file down to a strict size threshold (such as 20KB or 50KB) requires discarding image data through lossy compression algorithms. Consequently:

  • Aggressive compression may cause visual compression artifacts, blurring, or color shifts.
  • Results depend heavily on the resolution, lighting, and noise profile of your original source photo.
  • We strongly advise always retaining an unaltered original copy of your photographs and documents before editing.

4. Financial, Accounting & Tax Disclaimer (Invoices)

ToolKB's GST Invoice Maker and business tools are formatting templates designed to assist small vendors and freelancers in generating printable invoices locally.

  • Not Tax or Accounting Advice: ToolKB is not a chartered accounting firm, certified tax advisor, or legal consultancy. Our tools do not provide professional advice regarding GST rates, HSN/SAC codes, reverse charge mechanisms, or statutory tax obligations.
  • No External Validation: ToolKB does not cross-reference entered GSTIN numbers or PANs against the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) or government databases.
  • User Responsibility: You are strictly responsible for verifying that your generated invoices accurately reflect agreed commercial transactions and satisfy all statutory invoicing rules under applicable tax legislation.

5. Payment & QR Code Disclaimer (UPI, Wi-Fi & Links)

Our QR Code Generator, UPI QR Code Generator, and WhatsApp Link tools are client-side formatting utilities that encode text strings into standard two-dimensional barcode images:

  • Not a Payment Gateway: ToolKB is not a bank, non-banking financial company (NBFC), unified payments interface (UPI) payment app, or payment aggregator. ToolKB does not process, route, settle, hold, or escrow funds.
  • Verification of UPI IDs: When generating a UPI QR code, you must test-scan the generated QR code and verify that the Virtual Payment Address (VPA / UPI ID) and recipient name match your intended account before displaying or printing it for customer payments.
  • No Fraud Liability: ToolKB is not liable for transactions made to incorrect accounts, typos entered into payment fields, or unauthorized QR code modifications performed after generation.

6. Non-Affiliation & Independence Statement

ToolKB is an independent software project. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), National Testing Agency (NTA), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Indian Railways, NSDL, or any government ministry or department.

All product and organization names, trademarks, and registered trademarks mentioned on our website are the property of their respective holders. Their mention on ToolKB is strictly for descriptive and referential identification of common portal requirements.
